Lion Ivory & A Plus (Alternative to Ganador Rice)

Lion Ivory and A Plus are rice brands that are comparable to Ganador in quality, taste, and texture. And, I am saying this based on experience.

At home, I am very particular with cooked rice texture. There are rice when after cooked they are too bagtok (hard), too dry and 'bungkag' (loose), or too 'basa' and 'lata' -- texture wise, they just do not feel that good in our mouth. That's why we preferred Ganador, it has the right texture even if it's already 'bahaw' (leftover/stale), it will not become 'gahi' and 'bagtok' (hard). Even it is already 'bahaw,' it is still soft but not 'lata.'

Lion Ivory and A Plus texture are comparable, or actually just similar to Ganador rice. But at a lower price. There might be slight differences in the length of grains, and the way they smell but I'd say they are no longer noticeable. They can be considered a good and more affordable alternative to Ganador rice.
